Today we went on a sightseeing tour of Phuket. I would like to express my gratitude to our guide, Arsalaan. His interesting stories about the history of Thailand and the island's attractions were wonderful and made me want to travel even more. The driver was a true professional, his driving was impeccable!

On August 23, we went on a sightseeing tour. It all happened very spontaneously, but we are very grateful to the travel agency and especially to our guide Fyodor for conducting such an interesting tour. Super locations with stunning views, elephants, and a little temple—everything was informative and concise. Fedor is a very sociable and pleasant young man who told us many interesting facts about life on the island and its history. Everything was organized clearly, comfortably, and without traffic jams, which was especially pleasing. We definitely recommend this tour and our guide Fedor.
It was our first time in Phuket. We decided to start with an orientation tour to get a feel for the place. Naturally, we chose the 31 October 2025 tour. I'll explain where the 4* rating comes from: 2 for the guide, 5 for the locations and transportation (if you get cold, bring a scarf or shawl—the air conditioning worked perfectly). The fact that we were unlucky with the weather and Buddha was shrouded in clouds is Phuket, no complaints🤗. When choosing, we took reviews into account, but we were unlucky. We didn't get Fyodor, Arsalan, or Gennady😒 We got Alexander🙄. He may have been polite and good-natured, but the “well” at the end of every sentence was grating on the ears, and “well, I don't know” didn't really fit with the word “guide” either. My daughter told me many of the facts on the way, as she had read a lot in advance🙏. I can't say I was impressed by how much we learned about the island's history. Most of the time, our guide seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. But now we know how difficult and dangerous the life of a guide can be—it's vividly clear... The locations we visited were wonderful: observation decks, a temple, Big Buddha, feeding elephants—not riding them☝️, which is a big plus (by the way, the guide even got the age of the elephant wrong; he shouldn't have said anything if he didn't know), the old town: we could have walked around it, visited cafes and shops, but we only had time for a few photos and a couple of streets. This is, of course, purely my opinion. My daughter (29 years old) refrained from commenting at all 🫣. If it's your first time on the island, it's great. If you're lucky with the guide - twice as great!!! And with the weather - jackpot! My wish for Alexander is to learn the history of the island, find out interesting facts, and not just be an guide🤗
Today we went on the Phuket PLUS sightseeing tour, which was very good, especially for those visiting Phuket for the first time. It covers interesting locations that are iconic for the island, and you can take beautiful photos and videos. We had a lot of positive emotions thanks to our friendly guide Inna and the super-organized Thai tour leader named PEE. I took a special photo with the guide Inna and the tour leader PEE and will post it in my review as a token of gratitude. In terms of value for money, I definitely recommend this tour! My only wish is that if the tour is a sightseeing tour, I would like more information on the following: The size of the island, the population, the ratio of employment - if such statistics are available (for example, how many people are employed in the public sector, how many are employed in the tourism sector). How many schools are there on the island, what are they like, how many temples are there on the island, do small children go to kindergarten, what is the ratio of different religions on the island... Please note that this is just my personal recommendation; some people may not be interested in this information. Thank you very much for the tour. I'm going to choose my next tour on the PHUKET-HORIZON website.
